i agree with DeeKofsky up until the last part of the song. i believe that by the end, he refuses to become emotionally attached to any lover. "No, it isn't so hard to get close to me There'll be no arguments, we'll always agree" basically, he will say anything and agree with anything she says in order to get her into bed. he will then ask her to leave in the morning with no regrets and no guilt whatsoever. "if you stay to long, inside my memory. i will trap you in a song tied to a melody. and i'll keep you there so you can't bother me." if he for some reason, does become attached to one of his lovers, he will simply pour out his feelings into a song and try to lose that emotional attachment. |
