I think at the end, when he finishes the "you'll never be alone again"... and then the girl's voice echoes "alone again"... I think she actually meant that she was alone again. The song is beautiful, but I can't help but feel that is has a sad ending. Amazing lyrics nonetheless... even though the line "murder son she's painful" just throws me off... now the song is so much more enjoyable when I haven't defined my own meaning to it. |

The song is sooo freaking catchy. And it's deep as well. The only thing that is throwing me off is the 'shiny toy guns'; the pitch at which it is sang. This is how I define this song: The robots are in charge. The robots are parents. The robots are 'robots' because of the things they do and the unnecessary rules they have. They can't seem to agree on something. So they have these fake fights that aren't even necessary. One of the robot takes nothing but the other takes the person singing the song. He misses every one... and he can't even remember them all but he can remember the shiny toy guns that they left behind. I suppose the shiny toy guns is his memories... ...and when he misses the little ones, I suppose he misses when they were little... and all these memories, and the shiny toy guns they played with. But with the frequency at which I'll listen to this song, the meaning is likely to change (for me). |

I know its a tad bit cliché to say that this song is soo in my shoes, but this song is soo in my shoes. Always being invalidated... the more you try the worse it gets. I got my CD yesterday... Shiny Toy Guns rocks... another reason to listen to synth pop. Very catchy tune too... especially the 'hello' parts. Actually I like any song that comes from an inner child's view. |

This is the first song I heard from them... I like the song. I think the song is about a girl who is very good at manipulating people. She is fake and the only reason why people still hang out with her is the fact that she keeps keeping them around with promises. So they said: Boys and girls, beware. But why wouldn't the people beware? Because she has hands like a Gods' (in my opinion, I would say 'hands' means something else... something else that boys like, and girls envy). So, that's why they keep saying "beware" to both boys and girls, but to mostly boys... so they better. That;s my opinion. Nifty song though. |

I love this song! And the video. I think the meaning is pretty obvious The fall of man from the garden of eden. Temptation, and human's innability to resist. When we fall into temptation, its sweet... the end is bitter (our fall) and at the end, we reap the consequence (loosing our paradise). Then again... we are nothing but puppets, nothing but characters in tragic book we call 'Life'. |
