After reading this on a biography, I think this song is possibly about Brian's first sexual experience, at age of 14, with an older girl. He comes of a very catholic education (think of the picture of Mary) and after he discovered his sexuality he felt akward and a started a rebel period. Maybe he didn't enjoy it. |

I think it's about coming home after a wild night and realize you're alone and you're totally wasting your life with drugs, alcohol, casual sex, etc. and you regret it, but the next day you're back on it. All of us been there once, right? Or, at least I was. |

I agree with the heroin metaphor, and I also think thi song is about gay lovers. A friend told me once they could be very passionate, in every way, sex, jealousy, even violence.
Pierrot the clown is a character who looks like a girl, and he/she always has a tear drop rolling down his/her face. Amazing song!! |
