This song..... . . . . . .let me think.... . . . I like it . . . ... it captures the typical teenage mindset [or at least my mind set] ... you're in love. Want to get away and live your life but others say you'll never make it. I think its refering to the previous generations [our parents] not understanding what the youths of today think and feel. It's about moving on and starting a new life of your own, by standing outside the the guidelines boundries we are suppressed to. "We live Only For a Second And Then We're Gone When We Least Expect it" ... great line... I like this song... good stuff... .. . . . . . . . |

This is definately one of my favorite songs of all time. The goo goo dolls always have heartfelt lyrics. I personally believe that the song is about a failing relationship, but I also believe, it has to deal with his girlfriends drug addiction. Hence, "I'm not the one who broke you, I'm not the one you should fear We got to move you, darlin" meaning we got to get you out of this mess. He is trying to help her, "talk to me I can feel you fallin" but he has failed and now wants to move on. "Here is gone" ... not sure if I'm right but thats what I got out of it. Great song. |

| I'm your first;) I surprisingly happen to like this song. Its quite simply a song about how somebody truly cares about someone they love. They mean everything to this person they are the "center of their universe." I'ts very catchy in a way.... its been stuck in my head since i've heard it. | |
