| Saw these guys at Warped Tour on Aug. 8th...FUCKIN AWESOME. Not only are they fuckin brillant songwriters and artists but they're really down to earth, cool people. Get a chance to head to Warped tour if you can, the 20 dollars is more than worth just seeing these guys. They basically hang out in their tent and sell tee shirts the whole time after their performance..so you can talk to them for however long you want! Well, i'm off to kiss a drunk girl, rock on. | |

| I'm sure that there will be endless speculation about the meaning of this song..personally i think a song that is discussed and reflected upon as much as this one brings to mind the pure meaning of songwriting and music in general: to communicate emotions and imagery that simple words cannot. I love this song, as I do all of Thursday's other songs, and I think that its intent is to ultimately let each listener relate its lyrics, structure, etc. to their own lives. Basically, dervive whatever meaning you want about this song, that was the songwriter's intention. Brillant work, awesome band, rock on thursday. | |

haha, madgriel..nice essay, i bet you'd get an A on that one (if they graded for length and not content) I'm glad to see that people are smart enough to be so passionate about music; by arguing over the meaning of the lyrics and the quality of the song every one of you are reaffirming what a really great song does, it makes you think. Something Corporate isn't the new 'beatles' or 'Nirvana', but it's certainly a great step in the right direction for a music industry dominated by coroporate (no pun intended) rap/rock groups. Oh, by the way, where can you find the studio version of 'Konstantine'? It isn't on the LP, nor was it on the EP..i downloaded it on WinMX but I want to buy it and support the band..thanks. |
