One of the best lines in any song. Every time i hear it it makes me smile. The instrumentalism of tower of power adds a lot to this song as well. The rhythm is perfect and the melodys great. The bass line in the background holds the song together very well. Love the main idea of the whole song too. Try and do what you do and be yourself, a little cliched but it works. |

I think the song is about the disillusionment that many people experience at different times in their lives. They simply no longer see the point. And its at this time that they turn to drugs (at least in this song). "take my place on this trip, it's for free" , a friend introducing the person to drugs for the first time. Basically he's being turned on to his friends old habit (his "seesaw"). |

As far as I can tell, the lyrics go " To the guitar fight" not "to the guitar bite" but then again I'm listening to a live version so whatever. In any case, song kicks major ass. Rolling around with it blasting out the windows of your car, pure ecstasy. AC/DC one of the greatest rock bands to play pure no frills rock n' roll. |

Oh man. Only 4 comments? Easily one of the best Yes songs. Yes in my opinion, one of the most influential and greatest bands ever. But thats just me. Never really thought about what it means. But as I read it, kind of reminds me of the futility of war. "On a sailing ship to nowhere, leaving any place," Just my 2 cents. |

Really killer song. Though when I hear it, it sounds to me as if he's talking about those superficial girls that are bound to be attracted to you when you're famous. They lure you in with the good looks, but that's all there is. Nothing behind the face. |
