| I think I possibly give this song meaning since it rings true to me. It sounds as though it's about someone in a relationship that is long distance but though she loves the guy and he loves her they are still sleeping with other people. They keep talking about the time when she'll move out there and they'll be together and she's willing to give up all those other guys now. Still, he keeps putting it off and saying that things will be great once she's there but he's not willi to take the steps that he needs to to bring them together. So she sleeps with other men out of pain and hurt and wonders where her place is in his life while he's still sleeping with another woman far away. Finally, though she loves him, she simply can't live that way anymore and calls it off. Only then does she see that he won't even fight to keep her. | |
