| I'm going to assume that the Beacon Street of this song is in Boston, which is somewhat famous and one of the first neighborhoods in the country with a streetcar/trolly line, which is still a feature of the street today. One can imagine the author staying on Boston on one of her endless tours. The scene is set in Winter so the Boston setting makes sense. | |
