In my mind, this is obviously about the paparazzi. "They give you and line and they call you a waster" They act like they're gonna be your best friend, and then they tell the world that you're a waster. "When it suits you, you're a friend of mine" When it's of greatest benefit to them, they'll say nice things about him, and if they want to get an interview out of him. "Cause you look better now than the last time" Always judging you, never out of the media's eye. |

Well... I don't really know what this has to do with the song, but at the Menin Gate ceremony in Belgium which remembers those who died in World War 1 every night at 8pm, bugles play the Last Post. Just a something... NO idea what it has to do with the song though. |
