i just went through a breakup, and even though i was the one that ended it i really think i could relate to this song. "She’s tired of smiling madly Until silence becomes very silently A noise in her mind" this could talk about lack of communication and how the silence became so overwhelming that it was almost like a sound. "After all she has nothing inside No good to give No meaning to live.." could explain the feelings of not wanting to give yourself in the relationship any more and feeling like you just want to end it all. "After all they shared How could he simply say no After all they shared He turned away from her to go She said she wouldn’t cry That was really just a lie" this very simply just shows the surprise felt when you realize that your partner has turned against you and you're trying to deny feeling the pain of losing them. |

its funny, because the first time i heard this song i was going through a break up. so i really could relate to a lot of the lyrics. "All the world just stopped now So you say you don't wanna stay together anymore Let me take a deep breath babe..." "I don't believe you're leaving cause me and Charles Manson like the same ice cream I think it's that girl and I think there're pieces of me you've never seen Maybe she's just pieces of me you've never seen well" this verse very simply just means that the girl doesnt believe the reason her partner says hes leaving her for. she suspects that its another girl, and she feels insecure that shes not good enough and that girl has something that she doesnt. |
