This song is pretty and it reminds me of love from the Song of songs or the Song of Solomon. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, the book is about love and specifically marriage but there is allegorical meaning too probably with you being married to God, through Christ salvation. |

Abbers, get married. That's usually the solution for young people like yourself. Else, get dumped as that is the natural progression. Now about the song, this is a cool song. Wish I could play classical piano. That is something I'd want to do if I could sit for once... maybe after I climb Mt. Everest I will learn how to play. |

Everyone is wrong about this song. Btw, the album is great. This song is not about Muslim terrorists that will die for hundreds of years to come. No, it's not about 911 and looking to Bush as a leader. Although that is a interesting point of view. But I don't want to spend yrs and yrs thinking about greiving and bleeding at the hands of terrorists... they will not win. No, I'd rather know that my government is killing State-less, radical, muslim - islamic terrorists across the globe. Just the truth... I do have free speech , yes? ************************** This song is about the coming of Christ. The second coming of Christ will come and he will take his followers while he will leave the others behind... At this time he will judge all... How can he do this... well, when I think of the coming of Christ I think beyond 3-D. Here on earth we most likely think often of 3-D and we see in 3-D. In math class we talk about 1-D the number line and 2-D the X and Y axis... Well when you think of Christ and God think of something like, say, 10-D... 20-D We can't see in 4-D, and if you can then you must be smoking something pretty powerful... Anyhow, the song is talking about planes falling from the sky as Christian pilots are removed from the pilot's seat, corporeal matter and all. The lyrics also say that the Christians will not look back toward the earth where they might become a sacrifice. The specific lyrics... Don't look down don't look into the eyes of the world beneath you don't look down, you'll fall down, you'll become their sacrifice right or wrong can't hold onto the fear that I'm lost without you if I can't feel, I'm not mine, I'm not real There are some lyrics there that talk about someone not going to heaven, maybe a boyfriend... "I'm lost without you". Your not the only one... that would be the Christians realizing that they are not the only ones in this world - because with all the secular people Christians often think they are alone. One moment in the song she says she doesn't deserve Christ... sounds like Paul from the Bible... The is one part that talks about not believing the lies of a secular person, evil or say some demon. |

I guess the meaning is literal. It's a love song. The translation is that she walk the city & she looks at the sky. The rain makes her think that he is at a distance place. People come and go while she freezes only to arrive in his memory. She questions herself why she is inable to encounter him. Everything speaks of him but his not there. She asks herself how he could walk away - from her or the relationship. She thinks she can invision him but he is not near. She travel the city looking for his mouth. No one knows where he can be and she thinks she is alone. People come and go while she only hopes/waits. Remaining, or just, in the same place with memories of him. repeat of the chorus... &&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&&& An okay song although I would probably take issue with the band politics which I presume are leftist/commie. Don't trust a leftist, democrat or commie - they are know for building walls and shooting people that attempt to climb them. Cheers. |

| Evanescence – Lose Control Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
It's not about cheating - and if it is then it's about Mary cheating herself. Scenario: Mary converses with something devilish, yeah - maybe a demon. She then says that she wants to lose control and "make it" with someone since she has been chaste, I guess. Then a narrator says that Mary had a little lamb - i.e. boyfriend. And this boyfriend was evil because he had a black soul... black eyes... The demonic thing approaches the little lamb and tells him lets trick Mary. "Let's me and you play." She, Mary, first approached the devilish thing and had many questions, no? Sure, that is exactly how it played out. She didn't bite so now the demon moved onto her little lamb to persuade her and trick her (He, the lamb will even wait for her at school .... he is a wolf in sheeps clothing). Mary once again contemplated whether to wreck her life. Then she tells herself "if I cut you down to a thing I can use I fear there will be nothing good left of you" So she doesn't defile, debase or deflower herself - she doesn't want to be left sullied. Way to go Mary. It's the typical struggle that young people have to maintain their self respect. You all know those stories of the guy or gal that goes to that party... Stay away from those parties... The common and predicitable result is that you'll get PWNED! If you do decide to go then Sit! You been owned and taken advantage of.... |
