Hey Miss_Misery, I changed it. Sorry about that :P The "guy" thing sort of reminded me of the "take my boy" line from "Man of Metropolis," so I thought it wouldn't be too weird of Sufjan to use it for "Christmas in July." But "kite" makes more sense, LOL. |

LOLZ. John Wayne Gacy was just on the Halloween ep. of South Park. I think the principle behind the song-- "We all have our faults and hide our sins"-- is noble, but NO... most people are in no way "just like" Gacy, who raped and killed children. I love Sufjan, but I don't really think the implied social commentary in this song is exactly justified or fitting. |

How could no one else comment on this! This track is a B-side and is somewhat more rare, but its beautiful. Testament to how good Sufjan is-- almost any other artist would consider this song one of their best works and feature it on their album, but Sufjan deemed this just a B-side. So cool. |

Cool! Thanks for putting the lyrics up. I think, however, that "colored" shirt might actually be "collared" shirt. This song is so gorgeous. I can't wait to hear a studio version. |
