The Goo Goo Dolls – Hey Ya Lyrics 15 years ago
I think the lyrics are pretty self-explanatory. It's talking to somebody to let them know that you're always going to be there for them and believe in them even if they feel like nothing is going right in the world. 'Hey Ya' is almost a comforting term towards the person they're speaking to.

The person they're speaking to has secrets and is hiding away, but the hope is that in having somebody believe in them, they will confide him/her in.

Stereophonics – It Means Nothing Lyrics 18 years ago
Kelly said last night at Manchester that they wrote it during the time of the London 7/7 bombings but more about the attitudes of people and life rather then based on the situation.

Brilliant song though

A1 – Things We Never Did Lyrics 19 years ago
I think it's about two people who are friends, best friends even, and one of them suggests maybe they could be more than that. To which the other person backs off, scared it'll ruin what they have.

And the 2nd verse is the original person scared that he'she'll lose the other if nothing else happens.

It's that friends/more then friends? route that always crops up.

Keane – Hamburg Song Lyrics 19 years ago
I was at the Keane gig last night & Tom said that this pretty much summed up him during the past few months with the 'dark things I experienced'

Personally I think it's somebody who's trying so hard to be kind and considerate, and basically a friend towards somebody and finally realises that maybe it's not worth the effort

Favourite off the album for me this
