Nothing pointless about this song, it's one of the few U2 songs I still love as I'm pretty sick of the band. It's loaded with Bono's personal nostalgia that you can find reflected within yourself. Personally the song reminds me of crisp colourful autumns in my home town, and myself; young, introspective and filled with longing. Eno deserves some credit for this one though. |

The lyrics listed here are really, really wrong. The correct lyrics are on the official U2 site. This is one of the few U2 songs I still really love, it's deep, sultery and sexy. |
