| Paul Kelly – From Little Things Big Things Grow Lyrics | 16 years ago |

While finding what this song is really about, I stumbled on this...Here is part of the article, but please follow the link at the bottom to read the full article. (Well worth the read!) --- From Little Things Big Things Grow' is the anthem of the land rights movement in Australia, telling the story of the proud Gurindji people and their stand against the might of the cattle baron, Lord Vestey. It is a story of hope and optimism first sung by Paul Kelly & Kev Carmody and adapted by The GetUp Mob earlier this year. The song's story has now been made into book, illustrated with paintings by children from the Gurindji community and is a not-for-profit project with all money raised going to the community to create an art room for sharing of skills and stories. You can buy your copy here. Frank Hardy's daughter, Shirley Hardy-Rix who has coordinated the book writes about how it came to be published. “Gather round people, I’ll tell you a story. An eight-year-long story of power and pride…” --- Link: http://www.getup.org.au/blogs/view.php?id=1583 |

I agree, Michelle writes and sings beautifully, I almost ran off the road when I heard her for the first time on the radio (Whoops). I love the way she sings about her friendship with God in this song. We always talk about Unconditional Love, but...never have I heard God referred to as a 'never fair-weather' friend. The description is growing on me! Thanks for the wonderful music. |

| Ben Lee – Numb Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The music industry/record labels decide to shelf artists when they don't want to them to keep writing songs, because of contracts this basically means the artist can no longer write sell song until the record company allows them to again. It seems in this song, they are trying to make Ben Lee just sit and not write any songs, but...he is fighting back and saying I don't want to just fall asleep and be forgotten, I'm not going to change the style of songs, I'm me and that's my decision. It's a great song, and I think it has a good message in it. Don't change for other people, make sure you are living life for yourself and making your own decision about who you are. |

I think that this song is kind of saying, be yourself...don't let others sway you from your own opinions and your own personality. And someone used to know who they were, and they meant the world to the singer, but since then, they've become lost in the expectations of others, and therefore don't seem like them self any more. I think it's quite a catchy tune. And I love the trombones at the end, they sound so cool! |

| La Bouche – Another night another dream Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Call me weird, but this song reminds me of weet-bix(breakfast cereal). Why? I think it is because I was always eating my weet-bix for breakfast when I heard it when I was just a little tucker...It took me years to find it! I love this song, although, now looking at the lyrics...it's kind of weird :P Oh well. |

| Silentexclamation, I would have to say I finish the song with the same smile. I love listening to it. It does not matter what kind of mood I'm in, I feel much better after listening. | |
