You probably wouldent get this song unless youve had a simular expirence to the lyrisist. The song is about a single guy who has two freinds, these two freinds were recently a couple but broke up. Now the lyrisist has a problem, the differnt parts of him, his instincts and his intelect are in conflict. His instincts tell him to sympathis with the girl, to reach out a hand to her while she isint over the break up, and then to take her as his own, while his intelect tells him that she is his freind and it would be taking advantage of a freind to do this. His instincts make him an "animal" but his intelect tells him he cannot, though his instincts are overpowering. In this song, he begs to be put out of his tourture between his animal instictive side and his intelectual moral side. |
