i love this song, especially the last part, evokes so much emotion.
i guess its about how a girl is too afraid to say she loves the guy that is desperately trying to be with her. eventually she moves away and lets everything else wash over her so she forgets about the guy, and in the end the guy gives up and goes back 'home'
its kinda a sad song, and i guess it relates to me a bit right now, which is why i love it... |

this song obviously means something to everyone at one point in anyones life. we all feel at some point that we are misunderstood and want to move away to 'boston'. this song has a great melody and the lyrics are absolutely captivating. everyone pretty much knows what the song is all about, but heres my opinion anyway. The man in the song is secretly in love with his best freind who is married/getting married and he is congratulating her. you can feel his heart breaking when he says 'But I'll try to say i'm happy for you'. its a very moving song, i love this song. |
