I noticed something really interesting. In the issue of Guitar World Acoustic featuring Beck and Devendra Banhart, there is a photo of Beck and Banhart outside playing acoustic guitars. Banhart has the Brazilian flag draped over his guitar, and the motto on it "Order E Progresso" is folded in a way where the only letters visible are "E PRO". Another idea for where the title came from possibly? |

I heard an interview with Jack White talking about this song. He stated that it is about when you are in love with a girl, you see her in a way no one else does. You say things like, "She is sooo beautiful." and your friends say "Well, ya, sure, I guess so". You see her in a completely different way. He said he wrote it while house sitting for some friends for about 10 minutes! |
