I think the title of this song is derived from marijuana, but Drake uses it as more of a pun. I'm guessing the song is meant to have double meanings. Anyways, Nick Drake was known to smoke cannabis, so I don't see why it would be surprising for him to incorporate it into his lyrics. |

They did drugs, who knows what kind (Wright did do acid twice, according to him), and who knows if they'd even admit the truth, but they didn't for shows. Anyways, I agree that the post-Syd music isn't drug influenced. Of course, this ain't post-Syd if I remember right. |

Actually, I think this is about Axl's dog. There was some controversy when it came out and a lot of radio stations couldn't play it because of the lyrics. I guess Axl set the record straight, ,but I don't remember the whole story. |
