"Lift up your open hand And strike up the band and make the fireflies dance" It doesn't have anything to do with spanking, for whoever said that. Most likely lift up your hand to motion or conduct the "band." Most guys that ive been with are scarred to take that first step with girls like me who arn't "mushy gushy show-my-feelings whenever possible". So at least from my perspective, being in a situation, its when you want that person to simple just do it and kiss you. you're sitting there waiting and tip toeing around the situation and all you want is for them to catch your butterflies before they die. For me its more of a "kiss me now you fool!" and then once that happens all you want is more and more of that person everywhere and anywhere obviously doens't connect or explain every context of the song, but hey thats love, it doens't have to make sense |
