Yeah I'd have to agree with that interpretation. The only real iffy one is between "we've put our ... down" The rest I can make out pretty clearly. That does make some kind of sense though. And I agree this is another great song. |

I think for the first stanza, the correct lyrics of the last two lines are: The face that you see in the door, isn't standing there anymore The third stanza may also start with "The" instead of "Your", but I'm not sure. I also can't tell if it's "The word that you learned to behold" or "The world..." By the way I really like this song :) |

I think the line is actually "Bleeding him empty just because he's a man" Yea? That's what it seems like on my version anyway. In response to the 'musical flare' question, I actually like it. It seems angry and edgy ... like he's mad that she's thinking that, but he's doing it anyway. |
