Okay, how come whenever there's a good song about misery, everyone assumes that it's about drugs? "Candystripe legs" doesn't necessarily mean he's overdosed on heroin and is in the hospital. It could mean that a trusted, generally positive figure is taking advantage of his position to ravage this child. The utter helplessness of this song reflects how a kid would feel at the time of the incident. |
