it means "for my heart" in spanish.
as far as the lyrical content of this song goes, the song is originally by Pinback, a very good band who write some very interesting songs. why Saosin chose to cover it, I dont know. perhaps they are fans of Pinback and chose to cover it out of respect for them, as a tribute of sorts...
As much as i like the original, i also really like what saosin did with the song. they completely changed the tempo and gave it a different spin.

I think this song is about an outcast or black sheep type character ("Scare kids away", "Houses shut their lights as I pass") who has finally had enough of this place ("This is the end of rotting away", "This is the end of keeping it in") and is either leaving or has made a decision to stop caring that people don't like him.
He also seems to enjoy toying with the townsfolk; running around scaring kids and falling asleep in the middle of the street (kind of reminds me of Sylvie from Marilynne Robinson's Housekeeping). Perhaps this is also a sign that he doesnt really care what people think of him. |

I heard this song on The Emo Diaries, Chapter 4. The lyrics seem pretty straightforward; it seems to be about a girl who is tired of her parents and is ready to leave home and grow up. Not bad at all. |
