If it is about a relasionship (and I have no freakin' idea) then the... Can I find some more misery? If it can't be you, then it must be me ...bit could be saying; one of us has to be unhappy. If you refuse to let me leave in order to make yourself happy, then I'll be unhappy because of your persistance. But that's just what I think. |

Reading deankavanagh1234's comment, made me think about the.. "Sun is in the sky, oh why oh why Would I wanna be aywhere else?" ..bit. I didn't understand it before - I though, well she's just being sarky then, cause she's making where she is sound like crap. BUT maybe, she's watching this - from a distance - in the knowledge that this is a completely different world from hers.... |

I've misheard this song basically every time I've listened to it, so I always thought that they used to go out, and now have split up and are "Just Friends", but it isn't the same... Wow, the actual lyrics kinda crap all over my theory! |

All the songs on the album were recorded in studios, except this one which was recorded at the singer's flat. I really like that. The fact that it's so simple: it doesn't need the fancy machinery of a recording studio, just a couple of guitars and someone's voice. |

| I can't work out what this song means, but I think it's deliberatly ambiguous. I love the rhyming in it though. Usually I think using too much rhyming sounds meanigless - as if you're just throwing words together, but Jack White makes it work! | |

| I can't believe there are so few comments for this - it's an awesome song! The White Stripe's first album is so underated. This is like most of the songs, face-paced with a lo-fi sound, which is great compared to most songs today which sound so clean-cut. | |
