| I think the first bit is claudio kilgannon writing to his girlfriend newo ikkin. when it gets to the bit where it says "Narris and Larry, Gloria to nowhere" claudio is having some kind of vision of his father and mother on the ship of mayo deftinwolf who has kidnapped them. coheed is turning into the monstar and destroying the ship (this happens in delirium trigger) in the acoustic version it has the same screechy effect as it does at the beggining of delirium trigger which is coheed turning into the monstar. it also has this effect between three evils and the crowing when claudio turns into the sinstar. The next stanza is when claudio is unsure wether it is just a dream/hallucination or reality and starts to get paranoid. after that it is newo replying to claudio. the next section i think is refering to the two men that mayo deftinwolf left in the kilganonn house to burn it down and im not 2 sure wot the last bit is about. | |

| BLAP! What's wrong with the world. In response to '123-what?', there is a thing on the 2-disc dvd that the my friend has saying that they had to mouth the words because it would sound all jumpy if they were singing and dancing at the same time. | |

I think it could be a couple separated by a war; hes gone off to fight nd shes bak at home gettin all worked up about it. I find the map and draw a straight line Over rivers, farms, and state lines The distance from A to where you'd 'B' It's only finger-lengths that I see I touch the place where I'd find your face My fingers in creases of distant dark places in this verse shes at home with a map lookin at where he is nd wishin he could be bak at home wiv her. at the same time hes found a map in sum trench hes in and is lookin at wjere she is nd wantin 2 go bak there. I hang my coat up in the first bar There is no peace that I've felt so far The laughter penetrates my silence As drunken men find flaws in science I think here shes tryin 2 drown her sorrows but she just ends up listenin 2 the drunken rambling of sum random in a pub. also the phrase "theres no peace" implies a war. Their words mostly noises Ghosts with just voices Your words in my memory Are like music to me Here she cant understand nething thats goin on or wot ppl r sayin 2 her coz shes 2 wasted nd for him the bit about ghosts is literal coz hes surrounded by dead bodies. I'm miles from where you are, I lay down on the cold ground I pray that something picks me up And sets me down in your warm arms this bits is pretty self explanatory. theyre miles away frum eachother nd hes layin on the ground coz hes in a trench nd has nowhere else 2 sleep nd shes on the ground coz shes cum home hammered nd found herself unable 2 climb the stairs so she falls in a drunken heap on the floor. This also lend itself 2 a war coz if it was a long distance relationship then y would they randomly lie on the floor. They both hope that sumfin would pick them up nd take them 2 eachother. After I have travelled so far We'd set the fire to the third bar We'd share each other like an island Until exhausted, close our eyelids And dreaming pick up from The last place we left off Your soft skin is weeping A joy you can't keep it This bits not so easy. it could be hes travelled half way round the world nd the "set the fire to the third bar" possibly putting gunfire onto a bunker or building of sum kind. From her side of the story she probs just staggered around a street 4 awhile nd then accidentally set a pub on fire. The next bit could b them thinkin bout wen he gets bak nd how theyd be so into eachother that thered b nuffin theyd ntice around them-like an island isolated in the middle of the sea. In the next three line i think hes been shot nd has lost concousness nd shes got paraletic or sumfin. they both dream of carrying on from where they left off. Then in the next two lines i think they both die-skin is weeping, he could be bleeding nd shes pukin or sumfin. then a joy you cant keep it, they leave their bodies nd r reunited in the afterlife. thats my take on it neways. if ne1 else has ne ideas bout it plz post them |

| Coheed and Cambria – The Camper Velourium I: Faint of Hearts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| i also think it is about Al talking to his gun, but claudio has written it so that we think he is raping someone and then reveals on the last line, "sleep tight my gun" that he is actually talking to his gun. | |
| Coheed and Cambria – The Camper Velourium I: Faint of Hearts Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| with regards to the coocoocacho, john lenonn wrote "i am the walrus" because sum random guy was looking at the beatles lyrics to try and work out if there was sum hidden meaning in them, so lenonn wrote a nonsense song to confuse him. The coocoocachoo could be symbolic of how fucked in the head Al is because i am the walrus is a fucked up song. otherwise it could just be taking the piss and thats why you hear a laugh emediately after the first coocoocachoo. | |

the screeching effect used in the intro of this song is also used at the end of "three evils" from their album "in keeping secrets of silent earth" and if you look at the some of the comments on that song, many people concluded that it was claudio transforming into the monstar. This implies that the effect at the begining of this song is coheed experiencing a similar transformation. " We're now up here alone, terror on the intercom," this is a member of the crew on the ship talking on the intercom to a base somewhere (possibly on paris earth) and by the sound of it there are not many left alive on the ship because coheed has killed them all " can someone save us?" he is asking for another ship to come out and rescue the few survivours (stating the obvious) "Systems malfunction, blast it this damn machine, over and out Captain" Everything on the ship is breaking down, possibly coheed has damaged some equipment on his rampage and the crew member is losing contact "Something lurks, creeps on the counter top somewhere behind you Parasitic cyst, I can't stand to watch, it's coming up and out of your chest" I think that this is the captain replying from the base, seeing coheed, in the shape of the monstar creeping up behind the crew member and killing him. "(Remember when we were young)" This could be cambria trying to bring coheed back "Sit up, right on the table," she is reminding him of when he was injected with the monstar when he was a child hoping that if he knows what is happening and why, he will resist the monstar and regain control of his body. "a photograph of Earth feeding me a way back" it is starting to work and seeing a photograph that cambria shows him, or maybe seeing earth out of a window, he remembers who he is and where he is going and starts to fight the monstar. "Frightened, I tear alone or maybe not the the only one there Hello? . . . hello? When it rings will you answer? There, corner tall short stance, it's you Come on, kill me!" Coheed regains control of his body but he is frightened, tearful and confused. he cant tell if he is alone or if there is someone with him, he cant tell who it is. the "tall short stance" could be him seeing cambria but she is blurry and her stature keeps changing. He finally recognises her ("its you"), and, knowing that soon the monstar will take over permanantly, begs her to kill him. "You made a good friend to me" He tells her she has been a good wife but he needs just one more favour from her. "But while you were outnumbered and torn, they made us do things . . ." Im not too sure about this bit, but it could be while coheed was controlled by the monstar, he made cambria and the rest of the crew swear not to help coheed, or to kill him if he regained conciousness? If ne1 has a better explanation plz post it. "Oh dear God, I don't feel alive when you're cut short of misery Will you pray it be the end?" Coheed is starting to transform again and begs cambria one last time to kill him. " Give a look surprise wide eyed to me Then you'll know just what I am, the scare that triggers your fear Come know me in a different light, come know me as God" The monstar now has control and mocks cambrias fear. He then tells her she will never see coheed as himself again because the monstar is now as powerful as a god. "Run sand hourglass, in my time will I be worth? Spin around carousel, when your horse isn't screwed in" Coheed knows that his time is fast running out as he slips further away and wonders in his final seconds if it was worth being injected with the monstar as a child to live the rest of the life he had. "Spin around carousel, when your horse isn't screwed in" I think this is the point where coheed is finally thrown from his body like a horse would be flung from a speeding corousel if it was not fixed on properly. "Oh dear God, I don't feel alive when you're cut short of misery (Raise forth lost cause!) Will you pray it be the end? Give a look surprise wide eyed to me (Raise forth lost cause!) Then you'll know just what I am (Subtle demise, the legitimate cry) The scare that triggers your fear (Raise forth lost cause!) Come know me in a different light, come know me as God (Raise forth lost cause!) this has the same meaning as the last chorus, except this time the lyrics in brackets could be cambria begging coheed to keep fighting even if resistance is futile. Thats my take on it. If anyone has any corrections please post them. Thanx. |

| Coheed and Cambria – Three Evils (Embodied in Love and Shadow) Lyrics | 19 years ago |

maybe the weeping at the end is a child rather than a woman, and then that could fit in with the "Slowly discarded were the remains of his lonely youth". just an idea. btw does anyone else hear a cat meoww at the end of keeping the blade? and does anyone kno y its there? |

| Coheed and Cambria – Wake Up Lyrics | 19 years ago |

i reckon where it says: "the morning will come" it could have a double meaning. It could mean as in the next day will come but he could also be "mourning the loss of his girlfriend (love this song) |
