Basically all when he is talking about the kid in the beginning that kid didn't have a chance to live.. but then he goes on to describe the lives of people and how they just waste it... when other people don't get a chance to. Maybe taht kid wouldn't have wasted his/her life.
Basically I think it is to wake us up to all the things that we didnt' do.. or the mistakes we make and how we just float through life thinking that we are invincible and can do anything. |

Well in the beginning of the song he says "A lovers tryst, neither clear nor descrpt". The word tryst, although it sounds like a bad thing, (according to the google dictionary) is defined as "a date" or "secret rendezvous". So that sounds like a good thing. Maybe he had a relationship that no one knew about, then he met up with this chick that wasn't who he wanted to be with but things turned bad and no body knew about the problems within the marriage either. This is a great song. It sounds sad, but that beginning part is hopeful and romantic |
