| Rihanna – Disturbia Lyrics
|
Wrong! You guy's are all idiots. "Disturbia" is obviously a song about being stalked by homeless zombies.
It opens up with Rihanna counting bums by singing "Bum bum be-dum bum bum be-dum bum". She's walking down the street and pepper spraying them to keep the bums off. But then they start following her like the living dead in the "Thriller" video. It then escalates into a nightmarish tale thats frightenly delicious. Ghouls and Goblins of every which way, track Rihanna to snack on her soul with Ghoulish delight.
All in all, "Disturbia" is a tale that documents TRUE-Zombie crime stories and is a wake up call to America that ghosts and goblins do exist, and are not just harmless cereal characters. Just ask my great grandpa, Draculas kick in his windows every night and try to steal his babe ruth rookie cards, that he keeps in a coffee can under his bed. But thats why gramp's keeps a mannequin in his bed and sleeps the whole night standing up in the closet with a shotgun. So whenever one of those damn dracula's thinks hes got ol' gramps... "BLAM!"
Gramp's says the only thing that really keeps the Dracs away is playing "Disturbia" on repeat and standing in his front lawn in his underwear, holding his shotgun (it also keeps the neighbors away). |

Superunknown is obviously about experimenting with drugs. Its about drugs creating a false reality where you dont know whats real and whats fake and being lost in that world("alive in the superunknown"). And as for the lyrics "first it steals your mind then it steals your soul" is a reference to addiction where you can no longer control your life. It also sounds like someone whose on a bad trip. |

Actually, spoonman the title does come from the "singles" movie. But It was Jeff Ament that came up with the title "spoonman" which is why he is credited for it. Cornell then wrote a rough acoustic version which would later be re-worked and make it on to the superunknown sessions and ultimately become the first singe of the record in 1994. |

Actually, hunter benedict, you CANT buy this song. It was never released. It was a leftover track from the down on the upside recording session. You can find a live version online but the original recording has never been released. In my opinion, they should have used this as the single for A-Sides instead of "bleed together". Its a pretty bad ass song, its sounds more like superunknown than down on the upside. |

Actually tobehuman, let me clear something up. Matt Cameron wrote the "music" for mailman not the "lyrics". Cornell did write the lyrics for mailman. Look in the booklet yourself. |
