This song in itself isn't bad but as a cover... ...she kinda ruined it. I like how it's switched from "she" to "he" though. Just wish the song was more like the original. |

So do some of you guys like to just keep reiterating the ideas of the people before you or did you just coincidentally happen to have the same thought? ...like this song "sounding like Britney Spears" or Prince. Because seriously...this is nothing like any Britney Spears I've heard. Some you really need to expand your horizons if these are the only artists you can think of that this sounds similar too. This song is however quite original and a musical masterpiece or near perfection wherein that imperfection is what makes it "perfect". Musn't we forget that music correlates a lot with sound? |

"What does he mean by: "When a leader speaks, that leader dies.." ??" That's an interesting proposition by vagabondstar. I interpreted it differently though. I thought that they meant when a leader speaks they figuratively "die" because a leader is supposed to represent the voice of the people, not their own voice or opinion on any specific subject matter, and thus, they are a leader no longer. |

I seriously wonder how many of you who condemn this song would think differently if Gwen Stefani was the proclaimed artist. This remains the same...just known as a song by Gwen. I currently don't have a very developed opinion on this song. But just face it, no matter what Paris puts out, it's going to get torn to shit by critics just because she's Paris Hilton. As a rebuttal though, you could say this song would never be out if she weren't Paris Hilton... Anyway, in conjunction with this website, I'd actually like to know what she means by "even though the stars are blind". |
