| Cloud Cult – The Tornado Lessons Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| It's quite honestly like having a tea-party in a tornado. | |

| By which I mean MAYA Angelou. My mistake. | |

I honestly believe Craig Minowa could take any of these lyrics and throw them into any poetry publication ("Poetry Perspectives"? Bump Mary Angelou off the cover) and it would be one of the best pieces within the entire magazine. This song, like a lot of the album, is just so hopeful and optimistic -- moreso than Cloud Cult usually tend to be -- and it just seems to be saying that there's enough out there for everybody. The line: "And it's okay if this world Had a billion saviors 'Cause there's so many things to be saved" particularly resonates. |

Ed: No, “Knife” is about backstabbing. Cheating. I don’t promote cheating. Owen: So, you cheating on Chad or Chad cheating on you? Ed: Well, it hasn’t happened. But that song is about stringing someone along and cheating on them. Maybe I’m just singing about someone who’s done that to me. I don’t even know. == If you guys want to go into authorial intrusion. But technically, it would be about him lying to him instead of her. |

| Cloud Cult – Hurricane And Fire Survival Guide Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Man: once Minowa starts singing, this has to be one of the most beautiful and optimistic songs that band has yet to record. There's still a lot of pain in the song but you can feel it starting to be overcome. | |

I think the most obvious literary reference would be to Nabokov. The book, after all, is "Ada." |

"We'll stay inside till somebody finds us Don whatever the TV finds us" Such great lines. |

| Klaxons – Gravity's Rainbow Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| This comes really really really close to capturing the blatant insanity of the novel. Almost takes you beyond the zero. | |
