i think it's about someone who has friend that has serious issues but aviods them at all costs, like by using drugs. and the person is sick watching their friend dig themselves deeper in the hole, and tries to help them fix things, then opens his eyes to thats who his friend is and it's always going to be the same old story so they walk away. |

ok this is absolute favorite song ever. my best friend told me this was her song to me shortly after i attempted suicide was in the hospital. so this song means a lot to me. and everytime i hear it i get sick to my stomach.
its obovious its about suicide and adam is telling a friend that never give up its never too late to change your life, and if you give it time you will be happy again. ant that everyone suffers at one time in their life and hes not alone.
but the video really confused but i think ::genericusername:: makes a lot of sense. |

Ok I first I thought this song was about a friend that was thinking about suicide and just struggling with a lot things but Isn't talking and keeping it bottled up in "this journal filled with all her black ink guilt" and when peole love her she remembers thers a reason to live and not give up. but then I read what Jimmy put in his blog and I wasn't too off but it makes a lot more sense. |

Surgery- A few months back my dad sat me down to talk to me and actually kind of blindsided me with the fact that he was diagnosed with cancer. He was diagnosed 6 months before he told me, but he wanted to wait until he knew he was going to have to have surgery to tell me because he didn't want me to have to be scared if he could avoid it. And I'm not the best at talking about how I feel so I locked myself in my room for a while and ended up writing surgery about this. It's sort written as my mom, who passed away two years ago, and dad talking to eachother. It's about how he was promising her he'd be okay, the way he promised me.

Wow this song is great. i love the acoustic version a the best. but i think this song is about 2 best friends fighting and and have completely stopped talking. one friend was always going to to him for help and he never really went to to her for help cause he didn't have many problemes. but then he gets sick of saving her cause he always get dragged down. so since he was sick of helping her he basically left his best friend to to by herself. and it was reall hard for her to cope w/ everything and she had to find away hate him, as much as it hurt. now he's like o man i messed up i need my friend back, and he keeps remember all things they thaghu and did w/ each other. and he realizes he could have just lost his best friend forever and he can't get it. he became miserable with out her and he's being just like she was, and he's growing weaker and weaker and need her back to save him like he did some many times for her. |
