for me, this song is all about impossible love and relates to a specific part in my life when i was in love with a guy, and he was in love with me. he is a devout christian, i am agnostic. he made a decision, as part of his faith, not to date anyone that was not christian. for months we were stuck in limbo, we were both in love but it could never go anywhere because of the religion barrier. now where the song comes into it; Show soul Kiss the stars with me And dread the wait for Stupid calls returning to us to life this reminds me of the conversations we would have where we would say "i love you" to each other, then realise that it was pointless. I'm not faithless Just paranoid of getting lost or that I might lose this is an echo of my thoughts, i'm not faithless, just not christian either. Ignorance is bliss cherish it... ...And fight the tears With pretty smiles and lies about the times trying to beleive that we weren't trapped by ourselves and that there was a way we could be together. Remember you, remember me Hurt the first, the last between the beauty of the relationship and the hurt felt when we realised we couldn't have a relationship. And all these twisted thoughts I see Jesus there in between through everything, Jesus (representing christianity), as inspirational as he is (i believe Jesus was a great prophet, and had beautiful teachings and excellent morals, but was human only.) is the barrier between us and everything we want. this is probably not what the song was written for, but i don't mind, this is how it speaks to me. and if i have offended any christians with what i said about Jesus, i apologise sincerely. I know, respect and love many christians, have read a majority of the bible, attended church weekly for seven years and a catholic school for four. Christianity is a great religion ith excellent teachings and i would never mean to offend anyone who is part of that. |

this is one of the best songs i've heard. no joke. it's awesome. i was listening to it on media player with the visuals on random and it was insane you could picture the video clip. when it said "now im standing at four corners to have and hold now my love you stand beside me to walk lifes winding road" the picture sort of went to the side and it looked like it was in a picture frame and everything that happened just seemed to be exactly what the words were saying . if anyone wants to try it windows media player visualisation "battery:randomisation" |

clarkey89 has a weird but really cool new interpretation (wow big word) the pregnant thing is pretty cool too i think it's about a close friend who is falling for the singer and the singer has just been away and now they're togather again and they're both scared of what's happening (them falling for each other) so he's reassuring it kinda makes me think of a guy walking up to a girl who's standing just infront of a sunrise so the sun is like behind her head i don't know of anyone here has seen that but it looks like the preson is glowing |

i love this song and it's getting my first comment! i think this sing is about a girl who had a boyfriend that dumped her and he probably went to all his friends saying that she wants him back etc. and she's just like shut up freak so points to stacie for that because that happened to me .....kinda :S it's kinda scary because every single stacie releases it exactly what's on ly mind when she relases it anyway stacie is awesum so yeah |
