Awesome song! To me, it's about a guy who is in a relationship and he has known that it's been going a bit stale for a while: "I can't carry on with all this pretence When it's clear that my love has been fading". Anyway, he is attracted to someone else (a new "thrill") which just cements the fact that it's time to walk away from the stale relationship. He's not proud of the fact that his eye's wandered, but realises it's just further confirmation that he has to end it. Awesome album :) |

Very melancholy, but very much to the point. You turn around after you've ended a relationship and wonder what the hell it was about - you realise that you only went into it because you didn't want to be single ... but now you realise what a waste of time was and you don't need anyone to make you feel complete.
