ThisIsNotABruise, I don't really think it's about her specifically, I think it's more general, like what HollandxGuitar was saying. It's just an ended relationship that he misses, and he wanted it back because nothing was the same, and so he waits for her to accept him and his apology. "I guess I'm trying to say I'm sorry, But it always comes out wrong, I think a part of you still loves me, Even though we're moving on." he's trying to apolgize and can't do it right, he's hopeful, thinking she might accept it, but deep down i think he knows they'll just move on. |

this song makes me smile like no other. it was the anthem for one of the best friendships i'd ever had. we had an agreement. as soon as either of us heard this song. we had to call the other. it was amazing. and this song reminds me of everything that was ever involved with that. i love it. |

rainbow_gryphon, "...thousand evil men" is on the BACK COVER of Three Cheers For Sweet Revenge. It explains the concept of the album. Which is. The album is a story of a man and a woman. They both die - the man goes to hell and the woman goes to heaven. The man then makes a deal with the Devil that if he brings 1000 evil souls to the Devil he can be with his wife again. As the last song on the album, this tells the conclusion of their story: "And we'll all dance alone to the tune of your death we'll love again, we'll laugh again and it's better off this way and never again,and never again they gave us two shots to the back of the head and we're all dead now." |

In the version I downloaded from Limewire, I have whispering right after the first couple measures of music in the beginning, and no matter how high I turn up the volume and listen, I have no idea what is being said, but it sounds foreign.. Anyone else hear this? |
