I think the song is aobut who the public sees as a hero. The rue heros are listed in the song. they are out there curing diseases, They are the firefighters, the doctors, the policeman. But we sledom call them ehroes unless they, say doe something spectacular. You don't call a cop a hero just for doing his job. The same applies for everyone. All the people who work hard for the sake of it. Who show up to work and do their job heard. We don't think of them as heroes. We see ehroes as the actors, athletes, and other famous people, but they aren't the real herops, the real heros are in fact, Nobody's hero. |

I also think the song is about suicide. The ambulance part goes "Calling all Units, we have an attempted suicide North Valley Highschool(?), 14 year old caucasian male, all units respond, I repeat, all units respond". If that doesn't give it away, I don't know what does. I get the feeling that the boy in the song is tired of having people say they're better than him, and he's ugly, etc etc. S he starts telling himself that he's beautiful, and that's hes better. he ignores everyone else. Thats where the "ba ba ba ba ba bada ba" comes in. Thats the boy kinda covering his ears and saying that to himself, so he can stop thinking about what others are saying. kinda like the boy puts his hands on his ears, and starts convincing himself that hese beautiful. In the end though, the boy decides to kill himself, because hes tired of what everyone is saying. |
