Groove Armada – At the River Lyrics 19 years ago
i love the trumpets in this song. and the fact that its so short and leaves you guessing the next lyric is amazing. its an incomplete sentence, almost suggesting to your imagination to run with it and think of everything that is possible at the river.

of Montreal – The Past Is a Grotesque Animal Lyrics 19 years ago
I went to see Of Montreal live when they came to San Diego with The Blow and sweet jesus when they played this song, i was in heaven. yes it does get tetious at times but the lyrics do fit the mood of the song. it amazes me how he can memorize all 12 minutes of lyrics in the song.

Beth Orton – Thinking About Tomorrow Lyrics 19 years ago
this has to be one of my favorite songs of everything i listen to. I never took time to look at the lyrics i just love her dulcet voice and the way the song flows. I think she is trying to say how hard it is to stop being in love with someone you have loved for so long. Whoever he is, he no longer has the same feelings for her and she wants to stop being in love with him but cant stop thinking about him. The last line especially ties the whole song together with a hopeful line, "nothing could save me from you, so long" shes giving up and letting her feelings go.

Thievery Corporation – Revolution Solution Lyrics 19 years ago
amazing song. "the toil of the many goes to the fortunate few" is talking about how the leaders of groups decide the fate of the masses in complete disregaurd for the "rebel crusader"s with their "pride on fire." definitley representary of a revolution.
I can't get "unexhausted has been my virtue" out of my head.
