I just went to the Roger Waters concert 2 days ago and he played this song. The show had a lot of political anti-war, anti-bush themes. Anyways this is the only song he played from Animals and what made it great was that the crew brought out a gigantic hellium inflated pig with "Impeach Bush" written on the ass in big letters and other protests written all over the rest of the pig. After the crew walked it back and forth around the stage, they brought it up the center isle and let it go with the spotlight trained on it as it faded away into space and as this song slowly faded out like on the studio album. It was a spectacular sight to see. But to make a long story short, I think he was telling us not to be led around like sheep by following the Bush agenda in Iraq. That must be his modern day take on his song. |
