I love this sonngggg. I love "Neptunian blues that eyes forgot" I'm going to see Of Montreal in two days. I'm so excited! I saw them a year ago and it was the best show I've ever been to. I never stopped dancing the whole time. |

| Modest Mouse – Blame It on the Tetons Lyrics

I'm so sick of people talking about bands selling out. If a band has many diverse sounds and songs that doesn't mean it's being disloyal to it's previous albums, it means that the band has a ton of diverse talent. This song is really good. Who cares if it's really different than other Modest Mouse songs. And besides, becoming a musican is a career, in other words, a person does it to make money and fame, thus meaning getting more fans. I don't think Modest Mouse betrayed its fans by anything it did. |

I don't think that anyone has said this but, "blood crystalized to sand," could also be representing the blood diamond trade, which causes civil wars in many African countries. It could be hinting at the blood of the people of Africa being crystalized into something many Americans purchase and treasure. |
