this was one of the best tracks on that album. It was every bit as explosive as it's subject, both literally and metaphorically. The song has an overwhelming power to it, the way the bass assaults you, the way Chino wails like a banshee in your ear. I wish i could find a ringtone of this song.

Yeah, this migh be the most depressing song I've heard in a whiiillllle. This is bad even for TBS, and I loooove TBS, but they write some of the most morose, sullen songs. And maybe if they had gave this song the rock-out treatment it wouldn't be so depressing, but what is that, a guitar and a piano? It's very sad ,the layered vocals at the end are great, thats one of the things that sets TBS apart from their peers is the excellent vocal arrangements. This is a great song though, but I was a little irritated that it was on the soundtrack for such a crap movie. Selah |

the line " A sudden morning crashed in the room, with an uninvited sudden change in you" reminds me of when I fell in love with this woman, but I was still in a another relationship, and one night, my love came over and spent the night when my girlfriend wasn't there, and we spent the night together, but when we woke up in the morning, she was there, and we were busted. It changed alot, mostly for the worst. I really don't care for the Starting Line, they are way too poppy, but I do like this song. What, a guy can't like a few cheesy ballads? It's a good melody, it's very polished and pretty, I like, I like. |

I think November Rain is a metaphor for adverse conditions. Think about trying to keep a candle lit outside in the rain in November, with the wind blowing and the water. I think it's about trying to keep something going in the face of difficulty, just trying to hang on to a good thing . |

this is one of the better TBS songs, just in form and sound, it's very powerful, it doesn't wander, it makes the most of it's 2:45, and it cuts off on such a great line, "show us just how vicious you can be". I love the "dueling" vocals, two singers kind of arguing, it's very slick. I love TBS, I have all their albums and am desperate for any of the genuine peripheral material, wish they were older and had more unreleased goodness floating around out there. |

I actually like TBS, they were a thing that me and an old flame had that was kind of "our band" , I have all of their albums and still listen to them quite often. I enjoy the delivery and the music, the energy they put forth. And they remind me of late nights spent intertwined on a couch with the most beautiful young woman I could never imagine.
But to compare them, in any sense, good or bad, to a band like Converge is pure lunacy, and it illuminates just how undeveloped your taste in music really is. Converge is an acquired taste, but once acquired, oh my...they are cingular in the best sense of the word, displaying energy and emotion and deep artistic genius rarely found in music today. You don't have to understand what he is saying. You can barely understand Adam from TBS until you read the lyrics once or twice, then it makes sense. But I digress. I think Converge is one of those things that you either get or you don't, and there's not much gray if any. I get it, and I LOVE it. You should also check out Bannon's side-project Supermachiner, which is excellent as well.pEaCe! |

At 8:56, the song turns into this incredible monster of sound that would tear down anything that got in its way. I have been listening to music all my life to hear a song like this. What an amazing tune. I have yet to play this on my 5.1 DTS, but I can't wait to hear it on some big speakers. The lyrics are wonderful, and the song on the whole is perfect to me. Like that other person said, the sound of heartbreak. |

this song breaks my heart like cheap glass everytime I hear it. It reminds me of good times. Wow, when you f*** up, you f*** up, you know?
the part where he sings "cross my heart and hope to.../I'm lying just to keep you here/so wreckless/so thoughtless/so careless/ I could care less" means to me that this person was desperate for someone to the poin that he did anything he could just to be with her, regardless of how wreckless or stupid.
this song is brilliant and reminds me of the dangers involved in falling in love and how romantic it is that we still ignore those perils and plunge in headlong. |
