"...break, break, break the other hearts and souls." "Honey suckle." The first stanza is so beautiful. I love the line "Jesus loved the street, and Muhammad too/With the times at hand, with the job at hand/Well I ask you, man, what are they to do." This song seems to be just generally life affirming, acknowledging that life is affirmed for different people in different circumstances in different ways. It's the "job at hand," and ultimately what steps you take are pragmatic ones toward a similar goal. This song makes me joyous. |
