i'm julie. i did the trio website from 1998-2003. the song was written for me summer 2002 when my father passed away from a heart attack. since it was a "present" to me at the time i didn't want everyone in the world getting their hands on it...for some reason it felt less special that way. the trio was nice enough to request that people stop sharing it and amazingly most people listened. i don't mind if people share it now, as long as you take it as a reminder to not take your parents for granted. and yes mark danger, i'm pretty sure it's a reference to trouble breathing. matt is funny that way. erm, and here are the correct lyrics: got the call, got the call just a couple of days ago that they took, they went and took one half of your soul there we were, nearly 1000 miles away when we heard could hear your tears falling clear as day we just wished you were okay there are times, times you'll never forget in your heart, in your heart you will always live free of regret because a love, a love like this never dies it just grows grows and it strengthens over time grows stronger with the years of our lives i was wrong when i said things never work out right i was wrong to believe that theres no meaning to this life it's just taken a couple of years shedding my own tears to be able to wholeheartedly say to you we'll never be alone you'll never be alone you'll never be alone you'll never be alone |
