AHH!!! Probably my favourite from Wild Like Children....I can play it on piano : D It makes me think of being in a relationship(it kind of applies to a friendship I recently "ended) and getting out of it and realizing how fake the love was, and how hurt you really are, and that you'll be stronger and more respected in your next relationship. |

| I love this song, very much, though I'd have to agree in saying the beat is way deceiving. It reminds me of this friend I have( I know this isn't what it means to anyone else, but oh well) who always is happy and go-lucky and crap, but really, inside, this person is in the midst of such serious emotional termoil, and when they first came to me talking about how hurt and confused they were, I could hardly believe it. And even now, the more I think about it, I just honestly don't know what to do, because nothing I do or say will fix it, but I would do anything if I knew that it would. | |

| My favourite Tilly song, hands-down. Its an amazing song, and I love that it can be so beautifully written about Henry Darger's art.....I wrote a short story based around this song....Its no good, but that's beside the point. Although this song is about Darger, I listen to it when I'm in emotional distress, and it just soothes my soul. | |

OH my gosh. This song is lyrically amazing. It's so melancholy, and you can hear the sorrow in Conor's voice, its so poignant. "Life up your shirt, the wound isn't there" and "Your kind of truth, darling, is just the ghost of your lies. I see through them all the time" would have to be my favourite parts. God, I wish i could pass out and forget his face by the time I woke up... |

The perspective of parents makes sense, but to me this song is about this stupid thing I have been "in like" with for a year and a half....I would do so much for him, anything, and I'd be happy for him if he found someone better than me, and I just really would be content with memories. |

Yeah, I'd have to say this is about cocaine addiction. And someone said that Lewis Carrol was on either LSD or acid...they're the same, and he'd more likely than not be on some form of narcotics, back in that time. |

It seems to me that this song is about a relationship, somebody really wants to be with somebody else, and the other person knows that it won't work, that they're being held on too high of a pedastool perhaps. I don't know. The beginning reminds me of the way I felt about this person, I very much so wanted to be their friend, and when I saw them upset about things, I wanted to help, but it wasn't my place. Please don't tear me apart for being wrong . |
