| To me the song itself represents how he feels towards his girl - how he wishes it could last forever. His actions dont represent how he feels for her and wishes he could change that. Something went wrong and he obviously regrets it. The fact that they ever loved eachother is comfort and this song may end, but another song will start. Its all about having someone that you loved - this may be the last song ever, but its forever recorded and going back and remembering what they had is what counts. | |
