| Bush – Glycerine Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
For the record: It's been touched on a few times, but glycerine is NOT a chemical used in explosives - it is a chemical sweetener and thickening agent used in a variety of foods, medicines, etc. The reference to glycerine in the song is not about the volatile nature of a relationship or even some sort of pleasure/pain dichotomy of love - it's talking about memories of how sweet a lost significant other was, and how sweet his failed relationship was, and now, he has so many regrets - things that he wishes he had done to save his relationship. |
