Wow, no comments on this song. This is probably my favorite CHL song. Basically, it speaks of our search for love, getting caught up in our emotions in a relationship (in this case, probably talking about singers relationship with God). Is what we are feeling love, or is just an emotional high? Are the feelings expressed to us love, or is it false security? But true love is unconditional. Try love is the type that Christ showed for us, to die for us, even though we were His enemies. When we are at are worst, He still saved us. This is love. |

I saw them at their last show in Atlanta and this was the second to last song they played. It was amazing because at the end the entire crowd joined in the chorus and they repeated it until they stopped playing any instruments and it was just hundreds of voices singing the chorus. Amazing. This is my favorite Five Iron song as well. |

Nothing revolutionary to state, but it seems the guy has been trying to live on his own, by his own strength. He has been going through life, trying to do things his own way, and nothing is working. Or everything seems to be great on the outside, but he is empty. Anyhow, the guy is at the end of his rope. Which is where the falling into God's arms comes in. The man can no longer go on by his own strength, trying to live his own way. It is in this broken state that God can start to mold and use this man. |
