wow. such a beautiful, heartfelt song (and i've only heard the live performances) its a song about leaning on your friends through the hard times and not trying to brave everything yourself because your friends have probably gone through the same things and you'd do yourself a favor by seeking help from them. |

i think its "i will choose NOT to raise up my voice" i think its a song about spirituality and trusting that circumstances though uncomfortable or unfamiliar can be overcome by a positive outlook... i dunno im not so good at this kind of stuff :) |

Actually in an interview Dan said it was about the time when his mom was sick from cancer but he was on tour so its basically his feelings of how strange it is to be performing to people when he felt so down. I think the "Hey what's with the girls with the stars in their eyes?" is literally the fans come to watch them play and "And we are alright now, but we're feeling tremors" is kind of like he is doing fine on stage but he feels like he is about to cry anyway, the song is open to interpretation, you can add your own personal meaning to it... its still a great song =D |

I think this is a really touching song. It's meaning to me is very clear: it is a song of praise and worship to God. I like the "Tears fall as my voice changes/into a crowd" part and i think it means that more and more people are being saved and "joining in my song". ps: i thinks its hallelujah but its not important :) |
