| Guster – Two Points For Honesty Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Crimsonandclover, you said, "I think this song is about being fed up with people in your life that don't try their hardest in life and like school." I disagree completely. I think this song is about being fed up with YOURSELF. You've had to search deep inside yourself to figure out your problem. (Two points for honesty). And you now see where you WANT to be, but you've no idea how to get there. Not only does this song describe my life, it also covers the same subject I've been pondering all day. I love this song. ♥ |

| Guster – Either Way Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Having grown up in an abusive home, the line, "Step on a kid, he'll grow up hating you", was like an arrow shot straight to my heart the first time I heard this song. it's the anthem of my father. He would lose his temper, lose his self-control, and the next morning he would wonder why his children shudder in his presence. |

| Guster – Demons Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
^ Eeh. Typical pop-music-listener. These two lines seem contradicting, "Cause it's easier sometimes not to be sincere" and "Honest is easy". He's either lying in one of them, or he's talking of different types of easy. If it's the latter, the fact that he's not being completely honest with himself even in this song adds some delicious irony. |

| Avril Lavigne – My Happy Ending Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
Avril makes my ears bleed. But besides that, I hate this song because of the way it has the worst lyrics I've ever seen. She rhymes "everything" with "everything" and the first verse is so cliche, so devoid of anything poetic, it makes me want to scream. |

| Carrie Underwood – Inside Your Heaven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I laugh at how terrible this song is. Sure, Carrie sings it beautfifully. But the it's terribly written. The lyrics often make no sense and are so obviously meant to please the mainstream crowd, it's so cliche. GAH. |

| Howie Day – She Says Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Ahhh. My favorite Howie song. | |
| The Killers – When You Were Young Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| Ah. I love this song, and I wish more of my friends appreciated it. I've figured they dislike it for the reason that they are like the younger version of the girl he sings about. They are still so caught up in the idea of romance and, "soul mates" and the idea that one day their knights in shining armor will come and save them, like Jesus. They don't like to think that their silly fantasies are idealistic and unreal. I love this song because it's realistic. | |
| James Blunt – You're Beautiful Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This song makes me laugh at loud every time I hear it. The scene of him, high at a subway station, singing not "I love you" or "I wish you loved me too" but, "You're beautiful!" Is freaking hilarious. The contradicting lines, "I've got a plan" and then "I don't know what to do" also make me giggle. Then in the last verse, he has the nerve to think an angel must have thought they should be together. I have no sympathy for the vain, blatantly stupid character in this song. |

| James Blunt – Goodbye My Lover Lyrics | 19 years ago |
| This song has nice imagery; It's goes along with a beautiful story. But the way it's sung, and some of the lyrics turn me away from it. Forgive me, but sometimes his voice makes me cringe. And often times the words are too cliche, like they're used only because they sound pretty. | |
