Golly, you're all... a bit silly aren't you? I don't believe this song is, as you've all said, one of those 'good times' summer songs. "Feeling Guilty." ... My reckoning is this song is about exactly that - a summer, not wasted on 'good times', but wasted. Spent... river walkways, reading papers, feeling guilty... etc... Which is why I find it says so much about the wretched way I choose to live my life. |
