I think you're all overanalyzing this song.
I believe it's a literal story. The priest is the kids' father, and he's been paying their way ever since he left.
As for the milkman: I think the part at the end is the milkman coming by for his delivery/pickup, and the little brother invoted him in, took his hat, and was going to fix him a drink. That kind of hospitality would be common in a place like this song describes. The little brother was probably coming to fetch his mother to tell her the milkman was there. "Go and ask the milkman" is probably a reference to him walking in on the events, either leading to Billy/Mom/Father's arrest, or they took off like Billy suggested. |

Awesome, awesome track. K-os is the best hip-hop artist Americans have never heard of.
Few corrections though: it's "all agendas will terminate", and "Jimmy Hoffa", amongst others. |

I'm pretty sure it should be "Lucifer, Lucifer, dawn of the morning, I'm gonna chase you out of here." Since Lucifer is also known as the Morning Star, it makes sense this way. Awesome track. |
