Kill Hannah – Kennedy Lyrics 18 years ago
are you people on drugs? they NEVER sounded like girls. they just sound a bit 80s, but most of you probably can't even name one band from the 80s that isn't mainstream. this song is called "Kennedy" by the way, just plain Kennedy. it's my favorites from kill hannah besides Unwanted.

anyways, i think this song has much more to it than wanting to be a Kennedy, (aka perfect). The Kennedy's were like the perfect family so yeah-Mat Devine wants to be perfect but then it goes on to discuss how if he had fame and fortune a certain girl would crash into his arms, and become his.

maybe during the end he's talking about something entirely different because i can't see it fitting in. "i'll be brave tonight, and if i had my chance i'd never let you go". i'm not sure if he is doing exactly what the lyrics say or if it's actually deeper.

My Chemical Romance – Cancer Lyrics 19 years ago
this is exactly what the lyrics are to the song
as sung at the 2$ bill concert;

"Turn away,
If you could get me a drink of water
Cause my lips are chapped and faded
Call my Aunt Marie.
Help me gather all my things,
and bury me in all my favorite colors.
My sisters and my brothers still.
I will not kiss you.

Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you.

Just turn away.
Cause I'm awful just to see.
Cause all my hairs abandoned all my body
all my agony.
Know that I will never marry.
and baby, I'm just soggy from the chemo,
but counting down the days to go.

I just ain't living.
And I just hope you know.
That if you say goodbye today.
I'd ask you to be true.

Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you.
Cause the hardest part of this is leaving you."

this song is obviously about a sick patient who had cancer, and the patient is dying slowly.

the ending lyrics i think should be the hardest part of death, is leaving you instead of 'this', because it makes more sense but MCR might have wanted to be more metaphorical. evs.
