Switchfoot – The Blues Lyrics 19 years ago
Wow wow wow Best song out of Nothing Is Sound. One of Switchfoot's best...ever. I didn't LOVE this song right away...but this is the kind of song that really grows on you when you're not looking. It grips onto your soul and lingers for weeks. Jon (and the boys) did an amazing job... It was also featured in a One Tree Hill episode and the way they played it right at the end...was perfect. Beautiful Beautiful song.

Switchfoot – Learning To Breathe Lyrics 19 years ago
I think Switchfoot meant for this song to mean different things to different people. That's why they didn't directly insert lyrics such as: "I love you Jesus", or "Thank you Lord"... I think they've been trying to get past the whole "Christian band" label...their songs touch on so many things. They are first and foremost a MUSIC band. They're not trying to preach. Jon just sings out of his heart, and sometimes God happens to be mentioned. Anyways, Switchfoot is my favourite band and I hate to see them being "stereotyped" into being a Christian band.

The Killers – When You Were Young Lyrics 19 years ago
What an amazing song, can't stop playing it in my head.

In my opinion, the song is about picturing the love of your life to be...flawless. But then you grow up and you do fall in love...and the ONE turns out to be completely different. But you're so in love, that it's not relevant.

As for the Devil's water part, not all songs have to have everything fit together. It makes the song flow.

Kate Havnevik – Grace Lyrics 19 years ago
On Grey's Anatomy's official website, Kate says that she was asked to write the song for the show. It's about devasting loss. If you watch the show, you know what that means. And if you don't...watch the show!!

Beautiful, beautiful song. And I love the fact that it can mean different things to different people.
